    Yes,

I’m definitely a bit concerned that I can’t even see the support forum without buying it first, for me, checking out the support forum of a product really gives you insight into the real world functionality of the product.

I do see a lot of ” problems tracking audio to midi” type posts, but then can’t see if there is ever any resolution, and i don’t want to be the person to buy it and THEN be able to unlock and reveal the real deal.

Added together with there being no trial demo after all this time is keeping me from buying.

BTW I am a big supporter of Toontrack superior drummer, I really want to buy this.

    Thanks!

I manually copied files over old within sdx folder and it worked – i’ll have to go through the rest now –
I should have not posted this in pre sales …duh! I re submitted this into the new SD3 support, as something isnt right with the product manager -maybe mods can delete this post cause i cant find a way to 🙂

Hey – thanks for the input – yes, i tried that too, it helped me program the basic groove ive got running thru song , but whats killing me is fleshing it out with some fills and variations on that groove , it’s an original song it just happens to have that kind of a beat – I’m just really surprised that with all the drum midi loops out there , no company has put a song file with this type of pushing groove out.
thanks again for taking the time!

You need Jamstix. Version 3 will be out shortly.

Ahoy fellow JS /superior combo user !
Problem with JS is (for me ) the default kit mapping for superior 2 won’t play double hits written in JS editor- it just plays back single snare hit (D1)
I’d be real interested if you could load up a couple double snare hits and see if they play correctly for you ( if so please tell me your secret ingredient )
After investing in superior 2 -newyork kits -foundry , I’m hooked on the sounds /processing power/ live midi performance to the point that I’ll probably be using
SD2 for most everything from here in . Problem is ive got piles of old JS songs i want to redo drum wise and this is a real show stopper
That aside , JS is a very innovative program has really good support.

    Cheers !
