Hi,
Is it possible to run toontracks sound files from an external drive? If so, what do I need to do to move them from my PC’s hard drive and move them to an external drive. I have a ton of toontrack products. Thanks for any help.
Devin
Hi,
this is absolutely possible.
Please see the FAQ:
https://www.toontrack.com/faq/how-do-i-move-the-sounds-for-ezdrummer-2/
https://www.toontrack.com/faq/can-i-relocate-the-ezbass-sound-library-folder-to-my-external-drive/
The procedure for moving EZkeys libraries is the same as for EZbass-
SDX libraries can be moved and then pointed to from the SD3 software, please see the manual:
https://www.toontrack.com/manual/superior-drummer-3/?type=manual_sd3&search=move+library
