Plus, the forums are locked, which I find incredibly stupid.

you won’t get any advice like that…

    Hello Jorg,

I agree the language is excessive, should have used something else instead of the word “stupid”. “Draconian” would be a better word, I guess. The thing is Toontrack not providing a demo, I can understand due to piracy, but what harm can come to them by letting potential customers browse the forums?

Same thing with manuals, I don’t understood why they are not kept online for everyone to read. Sometimes they contain some very specific information that lets a potential customer decide on a purchase.

Let me just point out that I’m not the first person to criticise this option, I’ve read other people’s complaints.

I was lucky that a Logicprohelp user was kind enough o render to audio for me a few Drummer patterns for me to test, but maybe being able to read the forums could have been enough for me to deciding on my purchase.

Anyway, I’ve since bought SD3 and I’m getting started with it, and so far I’m very happy about the purchase.

I just wish Toontrack had made it easier…

    Regards

    Miguel
