I have downloaded and , I believe, correctly installed the latest update for EZD2. However, when opening an instance in Studio One 3, it announces that I’m “not using the latest version which can be found in c:programfiles(86)VstPlugins.”
There is an ezdrummer.dll file there, and the Studio One 3 is pointing to that location.
A search shows that the modification date for this file is 23/02/2015.
This might suggest that this is not the latest update?
I have checked for updates via EZdrummer 2 when it opens in the DAW and downloaded the latest version 2.1.1 which is available from My Products Updates.
Installed both 32 and 64 bit versions, each time it confirms that this version is already installed but I re-install anyway.
When opening up in the DAW, the same “error” message then plus another which says that updated bundles etc. require a later verion of EZdrumer in order to work correctly?
Not sure what else I can do?
Any words of wisdom would be most welcome!
Hi,
if you perform a Search on your C: drive for ‘ezdrummer.dll’ how many entries show up?
In your example above, your path leads to a 32-bit location. Are you running a 32-bit environment/host?
I would just delete all instances of the ‘ezdrummer.dll’ that show up in your Search and then run the 2.1.1 32-bit/64-bit updaters again.
