Hi! I am a blind composer/arranger, and I work for an assistive technology center in Hawaii. We are currently developing the world’s first accessible audio production workstation with Mac and Logic Pro at it’s core. I’ve experienced the Toontrack products through a sighted friend who is also a musician.
Your products are excellent! We would like very much to include Toontrack in our workstation. Would it be possible to make your software compatible with Apple’s native screen reader, Voiceover? It’s a very powerful feature of Apple products, and according to them, not very difficult for manufacturer’s to implement. They even have an instruction page for software designers to follow. Also, the Native Instruments new controller series MK II now offers accessability for visually impaired users in the form of audio feedback to access menus and parameter adjustments.
Please contact me if you have any suggestions or questions. We are working to make the world of music production available to everyone!
Many thanks, Monty

Thanked by: HenrikWe try to make our software useable for all different kind of users so we will take a look at this. Technically it’s tricky for us to update some of our older software, and to do certain changes to improve the usability in this aspect, but we’ll check it out!
Thanks for the feedback, and we’ll contact you if we have any further questions.
