For a digital audio workstation (DAW), I was going to buy Reaper 5.965 but now not sure, having read some of the forum topics and that it does not recognise SD3.
What about Harrison Mixbus v5 – anyone familiar with this?
I love SD3, but I’m having the worst time doing precise edits in Ableton’s awful midi editor. Their velocity controls are laughable. I know I can put midi files inside of SD3, and will, but in the meantime, I’m wondering if I should just dump out of Ableton, go to Logic, or maybe to Cubase, which won’t be a cheap change, but will be worth it if I can finally work unencumbered.
Anyone know a VST that actually does more than just sequence, that actually lets you play out 7 minutes, and lays it out properly, and creates a happy edit environment (the one Ableton does not have)?
