Whitten To my ears Evil Drums is a rockier version of C&V, obviously applicable to the current music sound and offering two different room sounds (whereas C&V is pretty dry).
I know Baressi used eq and worked in the same way he does when on an actual tracking session, but the drums just sound more natural than Avatar to me.
