Scott1) That is the ‘Open Oaklawn’ Combined Preset that is included with the C&V SDX. It doesn’t sound like there is any external processing done in a DAW. I just loaded that preset in Reaper and compared and it sounds the same here. The snare is the 5×14″ Noble & Cooley Star Series (Stanbridge Jarrah Hoops).
I don’t have an answer for your second question because I’m a PC.
