superior drummer and roland spd 30

Hi all, Can anyone help me to know how to get spd 30 to play superior drummer 3. I can’t get the spd 30 pads to connect to SD 3 kits

Are you using SD3 in standalone or in a DAW?
If in a DAW – it should work, as long as the SPD 30 can play anything else in the DAW.
If in standalone, make sure you have selected SPD 30 as a MIDI in device, in the menu Settings / Audio/Midi Setup…”

The Roland SPD30 has dual trigger input pads allowing one pad to trigger two different sounds when the pad is hit at different strengths.  The SPD30 pads are not dual ZONE however.

Can Superior drummer 3 learn these dual triggers such that one Roland SPD30 pad can trigger two different sounds in Superior Drummer 3 depending on how hard the Roland SPD30 is struck?

I have found the “mapping” function in SD3 and the “learn” function in SD3; however, these SD3 functions appear to apply only to pads that are dual ZONE rather than dual TRIGGER.

Nevermind Toontrack Team.  I figured out how to set my Roland SPD 30 to trigger different MIDI notes based on the strength of the pad hit.  Then I set the Roland MIDI note to match the corresponding MIDI note in SPD30 that I wanted to hear.  Basically, the solution to my question is found in the Roland SPD30 settings and not really within SD3.
