    – What version of Superior Drummer 3 are you using?
    – When Live crashes, do you get a popup that says that Superior Drummer 3 caused the crash?
When you press ctrl + z in Ableton 10, that is a shortcut for undoing in Live. If the last thing you did was to add Superior Drummer 3, that will be undone, e.g. SD3 will be removed. If you meant to undo something in SD3, use keyboard shortcut alt + z.

    – What version of Superior Drummer 3 are you using?
SD3 (Stable, Latest) which at time of writing was/is 3.1.1 build 19878 64 Bit VST

    – When Live crashes, do you get a popup that says that Superior Drummer 3 caused the crash?
No popup. However it is clear from the way that the SD plugin disappears then live crashes that it is the case.
When you press ctrl + z in Ableton 10, that is a shortcut for undoing in Live. – INDEED

If the last thing you did was to add Superior Drummer 3, that will be undone, e.g. SD3 will be removed. If you meant to undo something in SD3, use keyboard shortcut alt + z. – That is not the case here, The last thing done was moving a group of selected notes inside the grid editor of SD3.

Then CTRL + Z was pressed, with the VST in front focus. I.E. in receipt of the keypress event chain.
    At which time it dies.

Can you reproduce the crash? I wonder if there’s anything particular in what you did that causes this crash.
When I load Superior Drummer 3 in Live 10, add a MIDI block and add and edit some notes (in SD3), and then press cmd + z – it doesn’t crash. Cmd + z removes Superior Drummer 3, which is the expected behaviour – it undo:s the latest thing I did in Live 10, which was to add SD3 as a plugin…
