I forgot … use superior drummer with Reaper (sequencer)

    Hi,

Tap2Find does not work that way, you click the different drums in the interface with your mouse. Or drag MIDI files over to the drop zone.
If your host supports using your computer keyboard to trigger MIDI notes, then of course you can use it to tap it in but it’s not a SD3 feature.
I believe Reaper has got something called Virtual Keyboard. Enable it and then tap your computer keys.

Logic does also have a “virtual keyboard”, which translates keyboard keys to MIDI notes.

Further, there are free virtual keyboard software out there, that does this without the need to run in a DAW – for example http://freepiano.tiwb.com/en/ (note that the software in the link has nothing to do with Toontrack, nor have I tried it myself) 🙂

ok. thanks for the answers! if anyone has reaper let me know. I preferred the keyboard or something like that because sometimes with the mouse it is not very comfortable

a quick google for “Virtual keyboard Reaper” gave this as the first result: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YQwD__FVgDI, and there’s more results if you google for the same thing 🙂
