Awesome, these producer packs are SO useful…. big thanks to toontrack for getting these out….. While you’re at it, more songwriter packs would be very welcome as well!

    +1

Honestly, Avatar was a library I hardly used, because the presets for the other expansions are so great. For $9 each, the Allen Morgan & Steven Slate presets packs rock Avatar! I feel like I just got another expansion!

    Nice work – again!

Yes, those presets also made me wonder if it is any idea having more than Avatar (I got Allaire and C&V too). With some clever presets you could make almost any drumkit fit any style.

Still I would like to see the presets ported to other SDX too.

I agree 100%. TMF is a perfect example – it’s crazy to think you *have* to do metal only, with these kits. They’re just (fairly) unprocessed drums. That’s the whole point – *we* get to sculp them into whatever we want 😉

Hi There! Apologies in Advance, but i just bought the presets, installed but i can’t find them in SD2. I’ve dot the Avatar kit up but i cant see the new presets. Do i need to activate or load them somehow? A complete scan of my hard drive did not find the word Steven Slate anywhere. My SD2 Library is on a different drive.

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi,

For any of the Producer Preset packs to show in Superior Drummer, you need to have version 2.2.2. installed. It is located in your Toontrack account, under My Products – Superior Drummer 2.0 – Software updates.

Download this update and install it. After installation, any Producer Presets should show in Superior Drummer under the Construct window – Load/Save – Combined Preset.
