I am composing a song where the time signature changes from 4/4 to 5/4. My EZ Drummer 2 is linked to a GarageBand track. Is there a way to build the drum track with the time changes in EZD2? If yes, how? If programmatically time signature changes can not be occur within the same timeline, is there a way to build the quintuple meter in a secondary EZD2 track?
Hi,
currently the EZdrummer 2 Song Track can not program signature changes. You can place different time signatures on the Song Track and the Song Track will follow a host playback that has signature changes but they will not be reflected on the Song Track in EZdrummer 2.

John
EDIT: I meant ‘You can place MIDI with different time signatures on the Song Track and…’

If He uses a second instance for the time signature changes and sets his second instance to the new tempo I guess you can then find all the parts you need for your song and then drag them into your DAW or I guess just leave them as is if your happy (then I guess you wouldn’t need a second instance)…wouldn’t that work?
I’m still unclear what a quintuple meter is though…sorry if I’m off topic…But It looks like Mgauf had a workaround for tempo changes with a second instance…??
