Same thing here with Custom & Vintage and Metal Foundry on Windows 10. I also tried rebooting and redownloading of the updates - no change. However, I noticed that the updater process is still running in the task manager consuming 12-15% of CPU on my machine. But even after more than half an hour nothing happened.

Progressive Foundry and Music City updates worked like a charm though (same machine, same setup, same steps).

Yes, The Metal Foundry and Custom & Vintage won't update. Updater still processing even I've deleted the package and logged out from Toontrack Product Manager. Windows 7 here.

Same here WIndows 10 64 Bit fully up do date
New York II (Both kits)
Custom Vintage
Metal Foundry
The installer unzips (even did this manually too)
When running the installer it sits doing nothing - looking in task manager shows 9% CPU usage but no other activity
Tried rebooting, re downloading, clearing temp files etc.

All other updates ran as expected.

I am also experiencing the exact same problems here. Sound Library updates 1.5.0 for both New York Studios Vol.2 SDX and Metal Foundry will not install through Product Manager. I initialize the install, I see an "SDX Sound Updater (32 bit)" entry appear in my Task Manager, using about 9% CPU but it does nothing. The downloaded packages do unzip successfully but the installer just sits in Task Manager doing nothing.

As other users have pointed out, even if I shut down Product Manager, the SDX Sound Updater (32 bit) still shows in Task Manager until I reboot the PC.

I even tried downloading the update packages through the Toontrack website but their behavior is identical, so it's the update package, not Product Manager that seems to be at fault.

I am using Windows 10 64 bit OS.

This happened over here too, W10.

I killed the installer process and just wrote over the update files (in "Contents" folder) manually. Everything worked thereafter. 🙂

had the same issue. also had the issue of installing any part (2-5) of SD3 just kept on ADDING more time and getting slower and slower (i think it got up to an estimated time to install--install locally...not download: 11 HOURS!)

so what i did is went into the unzipped files and just copy/pasted over to the proper install directory of metal foundry (copied the entire directory...not just sounds), and for SD3, i copied the sounds files into the proper folder.

after that, the product manager seemed to get that everything was installed and the program(s) worked as expected (at least as far as i can tell).

i'm sure i'm missing *something*...but it's all working and have all the different mics/ sounds in sd3 and mf thinks it's properly updated now!

hope this helps some of you guys....

how could i neglect the expectations, placed upon me, by myself....

Same here as Phil's description, however, I'm on Win7-64bit. Hope PM gets updated to actuate this, as I really don't want to "try" other routes toward creating more issues.

Lol, I had being installing it since yesterday. First part was a breeze but now i'm installing library 3 which has a remaining time of 52 min since 3 hours ago. At least I was able to try the new features before starting the full installation. Issues aside, I'm pretty impress with the new features and the amount of drum presets...

I update ROOTS, the 2 SDX, Progressive Foundry but, I'm stuck with the same behaviour observed here for Metal Foundry.

I also have problems with 5 Presets packages as well.

The "install Product" never disappear:

Presets are:

Big Drums
Bulb
Joey Sturgis
Koloss
Steven Slate
