First time recording , need advice.

So I wanted to mess around at home and maybe write some songs, just for personal enjoyment. Can some let me know everything I need to do so? ( analog to digital device, digital drum software, recording software, amp software…)

Right now I Just have My guitar and my MacBook Pro. id basically like to record to met computer and even make drum tracks in it. I’m confused with all the software here, Though I want to get Ezmix 2 and the metal god plug in pack, but this won’t allow me to record? its just for amp fx? thanks for all the help in advance!

I use EZ drummer 2 and Ezmix in Sonar no problems. I have a few DAWS and Toontracks products work fine in all of them.
Superior drummer….why not? Go for it!
