You have 50000 MIDI files that shipped with version 1.0 of EZD? I know that isn’t correct. EZD ships with about 7000 1 or 2 bar grooves (some 1, 2, or 3 beats). EZKeys ships with around 1000 8-bar grooves (some with less than 8, but a vast majority). The amount is rather similar.
In addition, the MIDI is organized into ‘songs’ which has intro, verse, pre-chorus, chorus, etc sections that are supposed to sound similar.
You can use the scissors tool and cut up these grooves, add a bar or 2 section from a ‘jazz’ song to a ‘rock’ song and create something unique and new. Scour the interweb for ‘piano MIDI’ and find tons of stuff. Import them into EZkeys. Chop them up into phrases and add to a ‘Favorites’ folder. Have ton more choices. The possibilities are limited only by…whatever you want to limit them at.
Or perhaps how much time you have to do all the extra leg work.

I reckon the (1,2,or 3 beat) fills & licks were done (even basic ones surely !! ) must be saving them for an add-on , but they could have included them and peopl would have more fun and vibe with it.
