Hey guys, I would like to import a midi file from ezdrummer on to superior 2 . It does import but the sounds and pattern at play back are off. Thank you!
I have been using EzDrummer2 for a while now and I save my files in the .ezd format so I can use them later for tweaks. I don’t usually save them as a midi as I export the ezd file to a WAV and I import that into Cubase. I then use that as a track and record demos this way. Possibly the laziest way as I’ve recently discovered but it’s worked for my song writing thus far. I purchased the upgrade to Superior drummer 2 and now want to turn those EZDrummer files into Superior drummer files so I can mix and master the drum tracks individually (or get someone to do it).
Firstly is there a way to open up the EZDrummer2 files that I have created/saved into Superior Drummer 2 so I can then tweak what I have already done? Or is there another method.
Also, I’m going to try the method of saving into a midi and then running Superior drummer in the window whilst in Cubase. I think that’s the intended way? I am going to go through some more tutorials soon but wanted to see if there was a correct way to do things.
