In this clip, the hihat was my first attempt to make something from a real cymbal.
It’s a mono-zone cymbal, dampened with rubber + acrylic.
The hihat controller is similar to the “Variable control box” by Michael Beatnik.
The sounds are DFHS

The controller is the same here, but the top cymbal is my current 3-zone trigger (bow/bell/edge).
