Please check that you are not filtering out AfterTouch messages in Studio One. Pro Tools does this by Default but it’s a simple setting to change in PT, should be the same in Studio One (if that’s the problem).

Yes, I have made sure this is not selected and it is set to off by default.. From what I have read so far this is a real problem in Studio One 3 and has been since the begging but has not been resolved yet !!

The latest versions of Studio One 3 should have Aftertouch support: http://answers.presonus.com/8504/presonus-fixed-midi-aftertouch-studio-one-and-not-they-plan

If you check the MIDI monitor box in Superior Drummer 3 you can see if the Aftertouch come through into SD3.

So after extensive research on this matter with Studio One 3 I have confirmed that they DO NOT support Polyphonic After touch for cymbal choke on Edrums !! This is actually crazy that a company as big as they are in this day and age, with a DAW that they feel is competing as one of the best does not support this function ?!!?

I guess everyone needs to get on Presonus and tell them to get with the times ASAP !!

Is polyphonic aftertouch required – I never saw a keyboard that had that even?

It’s channel aftertouch that is most common.

SD3 supports both polyphonic and channel aftertouch.

Thank you, I was a bit confused reading about both key/note and channel – so now cleared up.
