How can we help you?

Can I relocate the EZbass sound library folder to my external drive?

Yes, you can relocate the EZbass sounds and MIDI to an external hard drive.

All sounds and MIDI for EZbass get stored into one main “EZbass” folder.

The contents within this EZbass folder should never be altered or moved manually.

The default location for the EZbass folder on Mac is:

Macintosh HD > Library > Application Support

On PC, the default location is:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Toontrack\

Please locate the EZbass folder, then move the entire folder to the preferred location on your external hard drive.

Once the EZbass folder is relocated, you can remove the original EZbass folder that was installed.

Then, open the EZbass standalone application, and you should be met with a “Browse” notification.

Click Browse, then navigate to the “EZbass” folder you moved to the external drive. This will allow EZbass to see the installed sounds and MIDI from the new location.
