Once upon a time, (on Windows PCs) you could configure your Google Drive as a mapped drive (i.e.; drive G:).
I don’t know if that functionality still exists with Google Drive.

If it does, you could link a USER MIDI folder within EZD to one on the G: drive

    Hi Erik,

That’s exactly what I do. I have Google Drive designated on each of my Windows computers (oh, and I use Reaper too). Syncing is a breeze. I strongly recommend you close the project files or EZ drummer groove files before switching computers. It may take a few minutes too. I used to use a Mac running Windows (and Reaper) but abandoned that after Apple released a software “upgrade” that disabled several of my USB ports.

My workflow is that I develop the grooves before I start working with Reaper. I find it easier to work with EZ Drummer as a solo program. I may develop 3 or 4 versions (or more) before I settle on the groove.  When I get very close, I create a Reaper project.

My biggest complaint with EZ Drummer is that I can’t figure out how to make my Google Drive the default folder for my grooves.

    EZdrummer version: 3.0.6
    Operating system: Windows 10
