440ms latency problem I have a gamer laptop with a big config, I have to go through an external sound card to not have latency. Thank you.
In settings >Audio/Midi what is buffer size of your Audio Device and have you tried lowering it?

Yes I lowered it to 220ms via my td17 I do not go through a recording software, I record live on my TD17 Roland.

228 may result in noticeable latency, when I run standalone I usually have it set at 64 or 32.
Try lowering it.

Yes, if you want to get lower latency you might need to look at an external audio interface.
