EZDrummer2 crash when loading kit.

I hope this is the right place for this.

Just purchased EZD2 last night and spent all night getting to know it. I got the Indie/Folk kit as my free expansion choice. Had a blast replacing some shotty fake acoustic drums with the new goods and didn’t have a single issue for over 9 hours straight. I thought I might have made a mistake in not getting SD instead cause I like to tweak drums but once I started sending everything to separate Nuendo channels I was completely happy. Today I ended up buying the Hiphop Expansion Kit and had been messing with it for a few hours when I decided to load one of the other included kits and wham! Crashed Nuendo and I had to quit application through task manager. Lost about an hour of constructive messing about. Rebooted and tried it again. I loaded a kit from the Hiphop Ex first and then tried to load a different kit…same exact crash again. Last night I must have loaded the included kits about a hundred times across multiple projects without issue. During playback even and didn’t experience a single hiccup. Is there a known issue with loading certain kits? My system is extremely stable and isn’t prone to crashing at all. Everything Toontrack is brand new and up to date and the Product Manager says all is well.

SSD System Drive (where EZD2 content is installed)
12Gb Ram
Nuendo+Nek 6.5.4 (64x)
RME Raydat
UAD PCIe
On Board Intel HD4000

Says Version 0.1.4.0
I can’t say which preset exactly as it happened pretty quick. It was definitely from the EZ Drummer 2 Modern Kit though both times it crashed. I had no issues loading other kits from the hiphop ex. It was only when having a hiphop ex kit loaded to begin with and then trying to load a kit from a different ex pack that crashed it, twice. (I rebooted between crashes) In my new empty test project, after another reboot, it seems fine. No crashes when loading any kits in any sequence.

I just have to say that you guys have a great product in EZD2. The “Edit Play Style” functions were a nice surprise and so fast to use. Very well thought out. I know I’m probably preaching to the choir here but really…Excellent software guys.

Hi John,

I haven’t experienced any crashes since that night. If it happens again I will try to produce a crash log.
