    Hi,

both your interfaces have MIDI I/O, so you just decide which one you want to use and connect it to your computer via USB. Then you connect your DD65 with a MIDI cable to the MIDI IN on your interface.
Next, start up EZdrummer 2 on your computer, set the Audio and MIDI settings and then the Yamaha mapping.

John may have misunderstood Octa interfaces is connected already to my PC via USB, I’m assuming that’s what you meant and not midi to USB but just wanted to verify..

Well, although it appeared to be correct, my problem was simply that the midi cable in and out was reversed.

Works like a charm. . .except for the fact it looks like the DD-65’s hi-hat pedal doesn’t send a signal to where I can use the hi-hat pad both opened and closed. . .
